The “FYNN ASOKE” project on Sukhumvit 10 exemplifies the seamless integration of functionality and aesthetics while prioritizing environmental compensation to Sukhumvit area. Located near Benjakitti Park, this landscape design project recreates green space through meticulous planning and efficient use of space.
A standout feature is the preservation of a historic 60-year-old Rain Tree (Samanea saman), encircled by an earth-retaining wall to maintain its level and protect its roots. This design creates a tranquil area for activities, complemented by pathways leading from the wall. A staircase is integrated into the retaining wall, providing access to a children's pool and basement facilities.
The project emphasizes a curated access experience. The perimeter wall incorporates small marble pieces that harmonize with the building’s design and pedestrian access points, including a security guardhouse. Decorative perforated light boxes and an entrance gate inspired by the Rain Tree’s leaf enhance the visual connection to the preserved tree.
The drop-off area features a stainless-steel surface aligned with the road for smooth vehicle movement. Frosted glass railings in the lobby reduce glare from headlights on the internal pool area, contributing to safety and comfort.
Water features are designed around a "Three-Stories Water Surface" concept, with multiple levels for added depth. A skylight above the drop-off area illuminates the fitness center below, fostering a calming atmosphere. The main pool area links the two buildings, featuring a waterfall wall, slider, and a water tunnel connecting to a children’s pool.
The rooftop garden creates a green buffer between buildings, incorporating play areas, BBQ zones, sunken seating, and space for vegetable planting. Selected openings provide views of Benjakitti Park, enhancing the connection to nature.
Overall, "FYNN ASOKE" merges aesthetic appeal with sustainability, addressing user needs for comfort and beauty while integrating modern design principles in landscape architecture.
